DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND ASSEMBLY OF STRUCTURES AND ACCES LADDERS FOR COMPLETE EQUIPMENT OR INSTALLATIONS.
Structures types
Main structure
→ Stabilizing elements that transmit loads to foundation, offering the necessary resistance conditions.
→ It consists of horizontal bars that must withstand the bending stresses and vertical elements that must resist the compressive stresses.
Secondary structure
→ Horizontal surface or platforms that must be supported by the main structure.
→ They transmit loads up to the foundation through the beams and pillars or main structure.
ABOUT SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE LADDERS

according to RD 486/97, NTP 408 and CTE
→ The access ladder to a silo consists of a vertical structure fixed to the main structure forming an angle of 90º with respect to the ground.
→ A protection cage should be integrated from a height of 2.50 from the ground level.
→ The safety cage is a perimeter protection structure formed by a set of rings arranged vertically along the ladder, above 2.50m to 1m above the arrival surface.
→ Ladders must comply with a rest platform every 9m of vertical section in order to ensure the rest in the ascent and descent of the ladder.
Design basis
→ Vertical distance between steps: ≤ 0.30m
→ Step width: ≥ 0,40m y ≤ 0,8m
→ Minimum diameter of the cage at startup: 0,70m
→ Maximum diameter of the cage in the rest of the section: 0,60m
→ Maximum distance between rest platforms: 9m
→ Minimum surface of rest platforms: 0,60m x 0,95m
→ Maximum height of the cage to the ground: 2,50m
→ Minimum height of the cage on the arrival surface: 1m
