Simple construction dust collection equipment. It consists of a cylindrical body with a cone in its lower part.

The flow is ducted to the tangentially inletm, on the upper part of the equipment, and adopts a spiral current which dust particles are decanted by gravity towards the cone of the filter while the dust-free air is released to he atmosphere or recycled to installation.

It is a device that admits to be designed in a great variety of materials, being able to withstand high temperatures and pressures.

They are not suitable for separating particles smaller than 5μm. If flow is released into the atmosphere and the product generates dust particles of smaller size, a filter must be added to the installation in order to comply with the legal requirements for emissions to the atmosphere.
