Why does the pellets contain fines?
The causes of the dust content and ‘angel hair’ in bulk materials processes can be attributed to the friction of the pellet against the duct’s walls, pipping curves, and extruder cutting.
A large percentage of dust generated by these circumstances remains attached to the pellets surface due to static electricity, causing damage to finished products, such as blurred surfaces, “black” or “carbonized” spots, etc.
THE PELLETRON TECHNOLOGY IS ABLE TO BREAK STATIC ATTRACTION BETWEEN DUST AND PELLET IN ORDER TO SEPARATE IT, INCREASING THE QUALITY OF THE FINAL PRODUCT.
base functioning
An electromagnetic field coil breaks the static attraction between pellet and dust. A current wash air is supplied by a fun and ducted to the DeDuster’s inlet. Inside de equipment, that flow of air passes through perforated plates of stainless steel. This generates a washing stream that separates and drags the fines contained in the pellets towards a cyclone or filter.

Work scheme
-
Pellet inlet with dust and angel hair
-
Fan wash air to DeDuster
-
Wash air current vacuum to cyclone after dust separation in DeDuster
-
Dust content
-
Clean air current filtered and ducted to the system
